writes: I am 18 years old dating a 27 year old man. We have been dating for a couple of months. He lives in my apartment complex and we are inseperable. We are both very happy. But there are a couple of issues, aside form our age difference. I am Spanish and he is white, there is a huge culture boundary and if it ever gets to the point where I'll take him home to meet my parents, he doesnt speak the language. As for the age difference, it hasn't seemed to affect our relationship, I'm afraid it does stigmatize it as wrong by others. Any thoughts or comments? Reply to this Question Share |

Cultural differences make a relationship all the more intersting. Languages can be learned. If others have a problem with that, they're close minded, just ignore them.
