We've been seeing each other in a casual sense since. By which I mean we hang out as friends, but will make out every now and again too. Well, last night we were at a party, got drunk (I was way more drunk than he was as he had work the next day) and he came back to my hotel room with me. We didn't have sex, but we were both naked and did a little exploring of each other's bodies. His is the 3rd penis I've ever seen, and I'm ashamed to say it surprised me in a way that made me very confused and a little weirded out. Obviously I know they come in different shapes and sizes but...The, uh "head" was much wider than the "root" if you can understand my meaning. I was just wondering if this is normal? I've never seen or heard of them looking this way before? Has anyone had experience with this particular shape before?

Before I even read your question: there is a huge variety of what is within "normal" for a penis. So without even reading your question, I will say "yes".
Now, on to read the post....
Ah, yes I have seen those before. They aren't my favourite. I have also seen the opposite, with the tiny head and large bottom. That one works a bit better for intercourse. I do prefer an even size all the way though, I must say. But womens vaginas come in all sizes and shapes as well, they're just not visible. So, you need to experiment to figure out what size you prefer the most. As for myself, I loooove a penis with a curve. The straight ones just doesn't do it for me. Im all in for curves, whether it is up or down or sideways.

When I said the head was larger than the root, I mean it literally seems to swell up on the last 3ish inches whilst the rest is just what I'd call "average" thickness for his body type. As my friends and i I have discussed ex boyfriends penises in the past (it's a girl thing) and we all came to the conclusion that the penis reflects the body shape (long and thin, thick and short, one even said his penis was bent slightly the same way as he hunched when he walked) so yeah. I'm not complaining, it just caught me off guard.

The human body comes in so many different forms. All parts are different shapes and sizes. It is okay to feel taken back as you where unsure of the look, but don't judge. It is possible he was circumcised.

Just a thought - you're British where circumcision isn't commonplace and sexually inexperienced so perhaps this is the first circumcised male you've encountered. It does give the "bell end" a much more prominent appearance then when it's covered with a foreskin. It doesn't usually feel much different though (except there's no foreskin to slide back)

I too haven't seen that many, but... they were ALL different in color, size and shape.
If you want to compare them... think of them as having as much variety as boobs. Small, medium, large, Xlarge - some with little nipples, some big, some dark, some light... See what I'm getting at?
Physical variety is something we humans have an abundance off. From hair color to fingerprints.
There isn't a "set" normal. There are "averages" and deviations of those averages. His sounds pretty much within "normal" or "average" shape.

How can you compare, when you don't know what to compare it to?
Take what you see as it is. Just as you would want someone to see your own body.
