A female United Kingdom age , anonymous writes:

is he Interested or not??

Just returned from a cruise and a much younger man who I fancied from before was still working on there-several people always book to go back on. he is going on another ship soon but I wont rebook

Last time I was on ths ship I saw him staring at me all the time when he was on stage and when I was dancing I used to see him sitting at the back of the theatre watching me dance and also when there was an outside party he stood behind me and didnt take his eyes off me.

This time I was on a cruise (last one now for the forseeeable future) and the same thing he walked past and his eys fixed on me at the tea dance many people were dancing he was siting with his work colleages and I saw him starining his head to see where I was when three was an outside party he stood behind me and watched me-also when I went in to the dance place every night with other people he kept staring at me even one of the other ladies said he keeps looking at you-one day I was speaking to a man near the pool and he was with his colegaues and I saw him sytarining his neck to see who I was talking to

he is much much younger than me

when i left the ship he was there with some work colleaguies and I went to say goodbye and gave him a hug which he returned strongly and we held each other for about two minutes and I kissed him on the cheek he said maybe we will see you again-although I had already told him that would be my last cruise for the forseeable future

I KNOW there is no future bla bla bla but even though it will do me no good i am HOPING he did maybe take a shine to me?

I am not being childish or stupid but I did like him very much and am quite sad the whole thing has come to an end and am just hoping some of you may think he DID take a shine?

thanks

chigirl agony auntI think he did take a shine. He obviously tried to stay decent though, as he worked and you were a guest on the cruise. It just wouldnt be appropriate if he made a move on you. So who knows, maybe if you see him off duty one time....

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (15 October 2010):

I think he probably did. I'm dating an older woman, so I know the allure a confident older woman can have. It's likely he did take a shine to you. There are a lot of younger men who are now being drawn to older women because the appear more confident and at ease. He's probably one of them. Pity you didn't say something!
