writes: recently i told a very close freind about the girl that i like but when she found out she reacted strangly. she said that she wanted to ask a hipothetical question asking what i would think if someone i used to like now liked me what would i do? she was refering to herself. i asked if she was being serious she said that she wouldnt and got a bit defensive while i feel that it might seem obvious can anyone please tell me if this was her trying to tell me how she felt? Bite the bullet and ask her, silly to try and second guess her, do you like her and if she was up for it would you like a relationship with her, if yes then go for it!!

The best way for you to find out if your friend likes you and if she was trying to tell you how she feels is if you ask her. just tell her that you dont want things to be strange between you the two of you and that if she was hinting that she likes you then thats ok and tell her how you feel if you feel the same way then why not give it ago and spend some time together but if you only like her as a friend make sure she know so that she does not get her hopes up it is better to be honest with ppl than 2 string them along.
