I decided to say happy birthday to my ex, even though we havn't spoken in months and ended on pretty bad terms. i don't want to start talking to him, and who knows if he wants to talk to me. was it a wrong decision or bad idea to wish him a happy birthday? does it make me look weak? he has not responded to it, and don't think he will, but was it a bad choice on my part?

petina1 agony auntI would ask yourself the question of why you would want to be in touch with him again for what ever reason. Put it down to experience and don't dwell on it. You sound like you wanted a response or maybe just a chance to be able to iron out your differences and move on. At least you tried you can say. Good luck.
