 if he said its stupid saying i love u then that pretty much means to him it didnt mean anything.but his ur ex u guys are over u shouldnt worry about it theres someone else u'll meet that we'll love u and mean it.i'm sure u werent the one for him

I don't think he loved you but I could be wrong. The toughest of us males will let the women we love know it by telling them. It's a beautiful emotion given to us as a gift to give. He may just be afraid of getting hurt so he keeps a wall up for security, stop thinking about it though because it doesn't matter anymore it's the past.
