reader, anonymous, writes (18 May 2009): Although it's possible that she's ignoring you because you were "awkward", she could have any number of reasons. I think that since you were hanging with her and her friend, it was more up to her than you to get the conversation started because she knows her friend well, whereas you don't really know either of them. Or maybe she's worried you don't like her because you waited a few days to text her, the get-together didn't go very well, and she's feeling insecure. It's also possible that she will reply and is just making you wait. Or maybe she didn't feel a strong connection... Whatever the reason, to me it doesn't sound like something that's worth dwelling on for too long.

 When something is awkard it is one of the most annoying things in the world, i hope when i get in a relationship that we have no awkard moments, because i dread them so much.I would just forget about her, she obviously has lost interest in you.
