I travelled to another country just to meet this celebrity so obviously I was delighted to get a picture with him. I was at the barrier and I leaned in really close to him and my chin was almost touching his shoulder and I put my arm around his lower back. He or anyone else didn’t say anything. But was that inappropriate? I didn’t even realize what I was doing until after, it was all so quick. But I’m asking this because he’s the biggest actor in the world and I really wouldn’t have liked him to feel uncomfortable or anything. He’s like three and a half decades older than me. Growing up with diffrent cultural values (im White English) for the photo I asked is it ok to put my arm around you? (She said yes). Iv met a few others celebs an have asked 1st. Some are ok with it others say sorry but no. But i think as your so young he'd not mind so much as hes like a farther figure.

I think it's a little to late to worry about it now. If it had been a big concern for you, you could have asked beforehand... and it it was reallllllly offensive to the actor, he probably would have asked you to move the hand.
I think it was just fine as long as you didn't grope his ass or other parts.
What I DO commend of you is that you actually thought about this. So many people presume actors are used to being touched by strangers... So, I think it was kind of nice that you put yourself in his shoes for a minute.
There was a barrier between you, you didn't grope and it was an 2 minute deal...
If he agreed to a picture, I think you have nothing to worry about.
Plus... he is of the generation where having his picture taken with a pretty young girl is a bonus.
