I've seen him flirt with other girls too, so I wrote him off as being the player type until last week when he texted me to go out for a drink. I wasn't able to go, but I texted him yesterday and suggested going to a movie. I was nervous because I wasn't sure if he considered it a date. I got there before him and bought my movie ticket. When he arrived he acted disappointed and said he had wanted to buy my ticket. During the movie, I put my arm next to his on the arm rest as and he didn't move away. After the movie, he instigated a spontaneous snowball fight on the way back to the parking lot, but no goodbye hug. Does this sound a really awkward date or am I reading into it?

If hes that much of a flirt I dont think he would be hesitant to try to put the moves on you. Dont think anything of it. Carry on as normal. See what he does. You asked him to the movies, so if he wants to see you again he'll ask.
