writes:I think I was a rebound. Here's my story. I ran into a girl I had met about 15 years ago. This was back in early December. I know her husband as well. So we start talking regularly on our blackberries. Nothing crazy just chat daily. She is telling me that things are bad in her marriage. And have been for a long time. So I'm being her friend. Which is all I was thinking at the time.We go out for drinks and she wants a Christmas kiss. Against my better judgment I kissed her. It turned into a 3 hour make out session.We talked about it and both agreed that we did not regret it. But I explained that I felt guilty because I know her husband.After that we kept talking like normal. And we got together again just before Christmas a couple times and it was intense and great to say the least. Then she slipped and told me she loved me and had for a long time... I'm not sure what she meant by that.But after that things got heavier in a way. She messaged me everyday telling me she loved and missed me. But I decided to end it and told her that it was not the right time. I wanted to wait until she was free and clear of her husband. She also has 3 kids to consider.So we did not talk for a couple days. And I messaged her to say hi. It all started again. The love messages increased and she made me promise I would not walk away from her etc...So that goes on for about two weeks. But we had not actually seen each other in about 4 weeks. Our work schedules conflict big time.So now last week I sensed some distance. But I know how busy she is. We had plans to get together on the Thursday. She had made previous plans to go away to visit family that Friday, so Thursday was our only chance before she went away. She cancelled on me. Said her aunt she was going to visit took a turn for the worse and she was leaving earlier. Which is fine.Now a week later and I have only gotten one text message. Her telling me that she wanted to check in and let me know she is still breathing. She had been home two days before she even bothered to message me.I have not heard a word since.Confused and feeling heartbroken. Not sure what to do now.
