My question involved whether I should let this guy Frankie disrespect me to be the bigger man, and not fight him. However, my best friend JP has had problems with this guy even longer than I have. Now, Frankie is something of a coward, and would never fight anyone one on one. However, as I was walking home today, I hear some arguing around the corner of the highschool, and as I pass by, I look and I see JP surrounded by four guys and Frankie. The first guy lashed out as soon as I looked, plunging JP into a fight that he couldn't possibly win. So, naturally, I jumped in and the both of us actually wrecked the 5 guys with minimal wounds. Now in the last question (about an incident before this) I was told by my friends here on DearCupid that it would be wrong to fight back. Be the bigger man. Those responses have made ,e feel guilty about my latest fight. But the situation has changed. So I want to know, was I being brave, or simply primitive when I jumped in to help JP? Was I right this time, or was I just stooping down to Frankie's level? Someone tell me straight so I don't have to keep thinking about it. :/

one of two things could have happened here. either you could have let your friend get the snot kicked out of him (defanitly not a good choice) or you could have given him a fighting chance (whitch you did) and you won. to be honest, in my opinion it is better to help your friend out in need then to let him get stomped by some punks.
