A friend of mine, recently held my hand and started softly playing with it. Was he trying to tell me something with the way he was holding my hand or am I thinking too much about it?

Griffo agony auntFriendly? a friend is a friend, a lover is a lover, a boyfriend is a boyfriend. its that simple. Don't get confused between them!

You need to determine if he's going to be a friend or a lover which could turn into a bf. The signs clearly point out that he wants to be a lover with you by softly caressing/playing with your hand.

He's waiting for your signal. Next time just look in his eyes and move a little closer signaling him to kiss you. if you want to be with him. other wise you will have to tell him you just want to be friends and if you say that maintain that.

Good luck!

TasteofIndia agony auntI think that holding/playing with your hand is an intimate thing to do with someone you're just friends with. But, like Gina says, it really depends what sort of friendship you have with this person.
