I was just wondering about the meaning of a guy mate's, (call him bob), behavior towards me. basically, we went to the cinema, where he paid, and afterwards we went to the pub and he thought it would he rude not to buy drinks there, so he offered to buy me a drink too. I declined the drink as he pretty much pays for everything when I'm around him and I get uncomfortable (yes, he has told me he likes me but also knows I have a bf). later on that night, another mate bought me a drink without asking me. Bob noticed this and asked "I see you got a drink then. why didn't you let me pay?" - what does that mean? is he in a way offended or something? thank you in advance :) Reply to this Question Share |

But then again it's not really a big deal so he should have already forgotten about it. If not it could mean that he really fancies you, in which case you need to explain that you have a boyfriend and nothing is going to happen (that is unless you want an affair, or fancy trying for a threesome)...
