A female Haiti age 30-35, *wannaloveme writes:

There is a guy that i'm dating. he always says that he is not a liar, that he hates liars, that he's a straight forward person, he tells it how it is and he doesn't hold back for anyone. it's quiete obvious that he appears to be very honest. but the problem that i have with him is that, when he talks, he doesn't care about anyone's feelings. he just says whatever makes him feel good. he tells me things like, i turn him off a lot. when he says things, i get mad and he says that he is not a liar that's why he tells me the things that he tells me. i think he's just heartless by the way he delivers the things he says. can you help me to figure him out.

for example, earlier i text him, i said i think he's very smart, that's why i like him and he didn't text back. i resend the message and still, no reply. i text him asking him if he was busy or just didn't want to text back. he said he just didn't want to text back. i asked why, he said there's nothing to talk about. i think that was very harsh. supposedly, he was being honest.

please help me.

QuirkLady agony auntThey call it brutal honesty for a reason...because raw honesty has no regard for your feelings and frankly hurts.

Anyone with a brain and a heart knows this. Your guy is missing one of those.

Yes, he was being honest, but there is a fine line between honesty and being an outright jackass.

He's being an outright jackass.

Dump him.
