Was he being serious, or just drunk?

Hi There,

I am very unhappy right now. I have been seeing a guy but whenever it gets to us being official he does not really wanna discuss it. We are both 26. It has been going on about 4 mths. He called me the other week after a few drinks - telling me I was the one he wanted to settle down with but he is scared to settle down! Does he mean this do you think or was he talking rubbish cause he was drunk! I did not mention what he said to me, but asked him if he remembered what we talked about and he said he didn't!

Every guy I seem to get with just seems so unwilling to make that step to a relationship and it is getting me down. It has been a year since I have been in a full time relationship. I am attractive. I never chase guys either, I leave it to them to pursue me. I feel I will never be happy with someone again.

Thanks for your opinions.

xx

hlskitten agony auntHi

Personally i wouldn't read too much into anything anyone says when they are drunk.

Some people speak the truth, others exagerate and become all lovey dovey. Hard to say which one someones going to be.

But if they have to be drunk to say things, or seem to only be drunk when they do, they arent a very safe bet for a future ey.

As for not meeting the right guys yet, thats simply all it is. Its not you. Mr Right hasn't come along yet.

He will.

Good luck.

C xxxxx
