First question is why did you have unprotected sex?
Because of where the wart is, theres a high possibility that its a STI... and genetal warts is one that will keep comming back time and time again once you have cought it the once.
You both need to get checked out, and make sure you use a condom in future. Or you may regret it for the rest of your future!

It depends on what type of wart it is, they are usually cause by skin infections and the HPV virus, which can be transferred but some can be birth marks and quite harmless.
However some warts can be a sign of an STD, especially with it being on his penis, best to play it safe use a condom. If it’s defiantly not an STD (don’t just take his word for that) then they can be removed with minor surgery.
