writes: How do I increase my libido? I really enjoy sex but latley I've just not had any drive. I feel bad because my boyfriend, bless his heart, is always horny! And I'm not. It upsets me because I don't have the urge like I used to. Any Suggestions would be great. Thanks.

reader, anonymous, writes (2 June 2009): There are various reasons why your sex drive may have disappeared suddenly. It could be a new medication, stress, you could be tired or feeling down, or problems in the relationship...
If it's none of those things though, then there are a few things you could try. You could try reading erotic stories, and see if that helps get you in the mood. Or watch an adult film, it you are into that kind of thing.
Maybe you could try and make it a special occasion. You could arrange a time when you and your boyfriend are going to be together, and try to make it romantic. Like, a romantic meal or something, or going out somewhere together. Even little things like wearing a really nice pair of new underwear can help!
Or maybe you and your boyfriend can just spend some time hugging and stuff, and not expect it to necessarily lead to sex. If there is less pressure, it might just happen naturally.
Hope something helps! x
