jessica04 agony auntWear cotton panties and change daily! You know the drill on that. Don't use scented soaps down there, and don't use scented lotions either.

You're young, and zits happen, and no one knows why they HAVE to happen there of all places, but you aren't alone. Do you have acne anywhere else? You should not feel embarrassed to tell your mom, she is the one who can take you to a dermatologist and gyno to figure out if there is any medication they can put you on. This isn't a bad thing, just sucky.

And please, don't pop them. That can lead to scarring and infection and can end up looking 100x worse than the pimple itself!

Dazed~Confused agony auntDon't squeeze them!!! You likely have infected hair follicles. Some people can't shave down there b/c they get infected follicles or in-grown hairs.

The best way to deal with this is to keep the hair trimmed, not shaved. Is an anti-bacterial soap such as Teraseptic. When you get the pimples, swab the area with rubbing alcohol and rub polysporin on them. It may take some time, but they eventually will go away.

Popping them will cause the infection to spread to the surrounding tissue, which is exactly what you don't want.
