Vaginal flatulence - Help!

Question - (14 October 2009) 3 Answers - (Newest, 14 October 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

The title says it all really. It seems that every time my boyfriend and I make love, that I have this problem. He does notice, laughs a little, and we carry on as we were, but it's a serious mood killer for me.

Do I feel attractive when that happens? No. I don't feel attractive anyway, I struggle for one day to pass when I think 'Hey, I look quite nice today' and the one time when I do, and my boyfriend can actually show me that he still finds me attractive, this horrendous little noise comes out!

Any suggestions?

And yes it is very normal and you two just need to find a way for him to enter you right.

adamskidude agony auntIt only happens because theres air trapped inside of you. Its usually the guys fault for going in at a bad angle.

Try the missionary position as opposed to anything else and see if you still have this problem.

If you do it could be either because youre too big or he's too small. IF you think it the first one, dont have penetrative sex for a while to give yourself time to, excuse the crudeness, "tighten up".

If you think its the latter, try posting the question "He's too small, help" or something similar

Excuse my lack of knowledge in the english language, but are you referring to vaginal farts?

Think about the positions you have sex in. In some it's more likely for air to enter your vagina. He should not enter you right on, but try to "slide" his way there, and you should not be spreading your legs that much. That would make sure as little air as possible gets in. Experiment with different positions and take control of how you do things.

If you are able to feel when the air wants out, spread the lips a little. That way you avoid the noise.
