reader, anonymous, writes (8 May 2008): I completely understand what you're going through. I've been through the same thing twice. Once even in the relationship I'm in. You just have to work out what is important to you.
The last time it happened I realised that I didn't feel the same way about my boyfriend as I used to do. Always had this other guy on my mind. I wasn't in love with him but I had a better time with him. So I broke up with my boyfriend.
It happened again not so long ago only this time it was way harder because I absolutely did, and still do, love the guy I'm with but was so confused about why I was so into someone else. I realised that even though I did have feelings for this other guy, I loved my boyfriend more so I cut off all contact with this guy. Even quit my job because I used to see him all the time and it was too hard!
You need to think long and hard about what you want. Just because you never thought you could feel for anyone else, doesn't mean you're not allowed to! I don't know what else to say but it sounds like you're more into this other guy than your boyfriend and not to be sure whether you love him or not, probably means you don't.
