Well one of the classes I missed was Monday too I stalled in calling the teacher / emailing him because I was swamped with other work from my other classes. It's a poor excuse. I just called to leave a voicemail saying sorry repeatedly and asking if I had missed anything (honestly I was talking so fast because I was fretting I don't remember much of what I said.)I'm extremely worried that when I go in tomorrow that he'll crack a joke and I'd be the center of attention of whatever because he usually does that to people. I'll be studying my books tonight/future chapters in case he will ask me questions (I have a feeling he might) but what if he had asked given an assignment/paper/handouts? I know I'm at fault but I'm going insane with worry here. I don't have emails of my other classmates yet, so I can't email them for help.. what should I do ? ):Do I just continue to apologize profusely tomorrow? I promise I will not wait till last minute to email/call! I just.. i haven't ever called or emailed someone professionally before. So I was nervous and stalled it off! Reply to this Question Share |

I had a boss once who called me out in front of other workers, so one day I went to her and explained I really did not like doing a certain task because I wasnt comfortable with it.She immediately realized she had been embarrasing me, and aplogized, never called me out again. If you let him know what happened and how you feel, he shouldnt make a joke about it after you've already talked to him...
