I've been sexually active with my boyfriend for about a month now; we always use condoms and I am also on the pill. But for the past few days my bum, well anus really, has been really itchy and I've been scratching it a bit through my clothes. I wiped myself tonight and saw tiny specks of blood and am really freaked out by it; I am probably going to book a clinic appointment but would just like to check here first if anyone knows what this might be so I could get a piece of mind. The things I think it might be are:-My boyfriend might have scratched me down there with his teeth when eating me out, or some saliva has just stayed there and made it irritable-The bleeding is just a cut from me scratching it-Or, worse case scenario, and STI even though we have been using condomsAny ideas really appreciated thank you!

It's most likely an irritation from something and you've scratched and caused it to bleed.
Could be anything from a lacy thong to new washing powder.
However, it could also be something medical which is why I recommend making that appointment and getting it checked out.
I know it will be horribly embarrassing but better do that now than leave it and it be something like cancer of the colon (It's not, but you get my point.)
Do you hang out with any little kids? Could it be a worm or something as they spread through schools like fire. Check your poo!
Good Luck!! xx

Could be an acid/alkaline imbalance in your diet.
It's as common as chips sweetie.
Basically, you're supposed to eat only 10% acid foods but the average westerner eats 50% acid/50% alkaline.
Too much acid causes IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and can cause irratation out of your bum!
90% of sufferers are women, them being more softer than men.
My advice is find an A4 chart of which foods are which, print it out, stick it on the wall and soon you will memorise which foods are which.
Alls you can do is try to IMPROVE your alkaline input as sometimes even an improvement can be enough to make the difference.
As I said, that is what it could be.
Doubtless a doctor would tell you to eat more fruit and veg.
TIP: Chips are knocked alot but they are actually good from the point of view that they are a VEGETABLE and therefore contribute towards a more balanced diet (acid/alkaline speaking...)

it could be anything from a simple irritation to a detergent to an sti - your scratchig is the most likely cause of the specks of blood but the cause for the itching should be checked out just to ease your own mind - you may have worms (easilly treatble with medication) or a sore spot where he's scratched you or you could have just been irritated by sex....anything is possible, it would be hard to tell without being a dr, but if its still bothering you, just get a check n let us know how it goes - good luck! xxxx
