I been married for over thirty years now. My husband I both work for the same company. My husband has arthritis in his leg and been complaining about it.He has beenworking with this comapany for over thirteen years. Anyway he came home one day from work, in a good mood and had my ice cold beer and chips for me and told me he got fired. He is walking around the house as if everything is okay. He is in his early fifties and act as if everything is okay. He says god is going to take care of everything. He has now been unemployed for two years now and my daughter has moved in to help but it only temporary. I dont make enough money myself to pay our bills and mortgage. I still oew forty thousand on my house. Dear aunts whats should I do?

Laura1318 agony auntUnder those circumstances, he is doing his best to accept the situation .It is better for him to act that way than to be sad and depressed .

Everything happens for a reason and only God knows the purpose .

You will have to hold the fort for now because he is incapable and until he finds his own feet again .

Be patient, kind and compassionate to him.Pray for him to get a job soon . He is a victim of the circumstances.

God only helps those who get up and do it themselves. No one has ever got anywhere by sitting around. I commend the fact that you're still with him, but perhaps the time has come for you to decide whether it's worth staying with him or not, because at this rate you're going to be stressed for the rest of your life.

Ever heard of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Felloship. It started in Amenica and came to the UK. I used to counsel people and had a few like you man. SO resting in the Lord is wonderfull but does not achieve a lot, except stressing out all around you, as you are really resting on them!!

If you are in tune with your Lord it is a two way street. He is definitely not okay. Everyone on this earth has ability and knowledge. IT IS NOT TO BE SQUANDERED. So go to the good book and read Matthew 25 v14-v30. It is about talents and using them. Your man needs to use his, or his Lord will take them away - ut says so in the good book, so be warned.

You don't say if you are in belief like your Husband, but if you are see you Pastor. If not you may have to leave him as he will drag you down by his actions and you deserve better than that. Good luck and may God help you.
