HelloCan I just share my experience with you, I have been in the extact same position, I was completely in love with one of my exs he broke up with me after nearly 5 years together and started going out with another girl ONE week later. I was honestly so hurt I never thought I would get over him. Anyhow he had a new number when we broke up so I never spoke to him after our break up. My sister and my friends dragged me out for a night out (all i wanted to do was sit in moping over him) I met a lovely guy who treated me the way my boyfriend should have done and gave me my self esteem back that had been sucked out of me by my ex. A few months later I heard him and his new partner had split up and hey the next day he was back on my case, he has realised the grass wasn't greener after all. But do you know what by then I had done my mourning over him and realised there was better people out there that would treat me with the respect I deserved and never went back there. I can honestly say I am happier now then ever!! Chin up high, everything happens for a reason and it just means there is a better guy out there for you!

I know it's hard, but you're the only person who can get yourself out of this down spell.
Keep busy, dive into school/college/work (really get your head down), surround yourself with family and friends (they're there to make you feel better anyways!), try something new that you've always wanted to try, do something for yourself like a new haircut or beauty treatment to make you feel good about yourself!
Just whatever you do, minimize the time you're left to your own devices, because you'll just start thinking about it and be back to square one.
Hope this helps!
