*s what life is?
writes: I have two lumps on my penis, but they are both very very different lumps but I have no idea what they are. One is just near the top, very hard, under the skin but it doesn't feel like it is attached inside, i've had it for about 3 years about 2 monthes before I went to Austailia. The second one is alot smaller but more visable, again its hard but it looks like a small peice of lead (thats right lead from a pencil but like i said only looks like) breaking the skin from inside and i have tried to get it out. I am to funny about going the docter and im 14 so I dont want to show my mum and I havnt seen my dad in years so I have no one to turn to. If there is a doctor or some one with medical training that can understand what this is please tell me. I have had 2 operations on my penis but not because of the lumps. One when I was 2 and the second one when I was 8.

Trust me, this is not as bad as you think it is. Just do it, otherwise you are putting your health at work. What's the best choice, being too scared to visit your GP for a checkup that will last a few seconds, or having to have your testicales removed and never being able to have normal sex or have children for the rest of your life?
He will very normally ask you to drop your pants, he'll give you a VERY QUICK feel, and it'll all be over with.
Then you'll know if it could a problem or not.
I had a most humourous time when I found myself in a sexual health clinic once, I actually found it quite funny how the GP and nurse (both females in my case) would be intimately touching me whilst making "small talk". I do remember walking out of the hospital laughing to myself about it.
Trust me, be brave, go and do it, and then you can laugh about it with your mates, I'm sure.
do it now. You don't want to walk around for the rest of your life with no testicles, that would really suck, I'm sure.

Go and see your GP, you might feel more comfortable talking to a family member that you feel really close to. Maybe you could take them with you for moral support.

David L is right, please do go to your doctor. I know it's embarrassing, but if you see a man he really will have seen one before ;)) They are professional people who will understand your concerns and deal with you appropriately and also I think be impressed that you've got the maturity to go, given the personal nature of your complaint. Could you maybe even tell to your mum about it? You could just talk to her about it and I'm sure she will want to support you, perhaps take you to the clinic. Good luck - please do something about it to set your mind at rest.

Everybody gets embarrassed about going to see their GP, I made the mistake of not going earlier, wish I did now.
You really do need to speak to your doctor about this. Even if there were doctors on here, they would probably advise you to speak to your own GP anyway.
These lumps sound pretty uncommon, especially for somebody your age. There are many types of lumps which can appear on the penis, some normal, some not.
Are they only noticeable when you have an erection?
