A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

So i have been with my partner for 4 years things moved pretty fast and we have a 3 year old daughter. The past year we havent been getting on really well and i thought he had cheated turns out he hadnt though but i got in contact with my ex, we ended up sleeping together. Recently i met another ex on a night out, we swapped numbers, we text most days and things get pretty flirty, he has asked to meet up for sex but i said no. I know both my ex's want me back but i do love my current partner and dont want to leave him but i know if did tell him the truth it would be over. I also cant stop thinking about my ex's. I dont know what to do here any advice woud be greatly appreciated

A reader, anonymous, writes (4 December 2010):

try, for the sake of your child and your main relationship to concentrate on that primary relationship.

What is achieved by offering out your body, for sex, to all your ex's? You are cheapening your reputation and undermining your primary relationship.

If all is not well in your primary relationship, then you work on your primary relationship.

So that you do not end up a single parent with NO primary partner and no interested ex-partners either .

A loving rational person X does not go out looking for sex with anyone A or B or C who offers to accept X's sexual

availability, because X mis-interpreted information about X's partner.
