What does it feel like?Examples of movies that depict this kind of love are:The English PatientThe End of The AffairDangerous BeautyBrokeback MountainReal life love stories that depict this kind of love are: The Taj Mahal (Shah Jahan and Mumtaz), Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson I've been reading up on this subject matter and was wondering if it's something true or not. I can only relate one of my relationships as anything near a twin flame relationship in terms of emotional and physical intensity, but that relationship ended abruptly, which makes me doubt the whole thing. I do know one thing though... I've never met anyone else that even came close to that type of intensity. What are your thoughts / opinions / experiences with this subject matter?

As I understand it a twin flame is where the twin is the other half of a soul and a soulmate is where you have been with someone in a previous existence. So you would have to believe in the afterlife I guess.

Yes, there is that one-ness that can be found. and when you find it never let go of it because years later you WIL regret it. Two souls that join and become one are always together but can be physically apart and even marry another but the joined soul will be in torment without the other close by so once found grab it and let nothing come between. Speaking from experience, It is a rare but beautiful thing. You;ll know it but once in your life.

The guy who can REALLY give you a good answer to this question is former South Carolina governor Mark Sanford. That guy went for a walk on the "Appelacian Trail" in South Carolina.... turned South,... and didn't stop until he got to BUENOS AIRES in ARGENTINA.... where he encountered his REAL "soul mate".... a tart who he is now bedding!!!!!
Sure, one can have a "soul mate"... but he ought to hold off until he's out of his marriage and out of the public eye before he looks for - and finds - her....
Good luck...

This only happens in a frustrated relationship. I met a girl who I felt was "all right". After it ended she became my true love. If she had not ended it she probably would not have got much further than "all right".
