True love goes beyond lust or liking or being hot for them.
You do not cheat on true love because no part of you wants to hurt the other person. Not for fear of ending the relationship, you just don't want to cause them pain.
In a way true love is a lot more 'boring' then mere passion. Passion controls you, it burns, it makes a day filled with wonder and excitement.
True love is more, you suddenly noticing you spend a decade together and going "that was nice" and simply sticking a couple more onto it. No seven year itch, no midlife crisis. Just two people sharing a life because being together even in hard times is better then being alone.
Offcourse that is what it means to me, true love if nothing else is personal.

LOVE
“We come to love not by finding a perfect person,
but by learning to see an imperfect person
perfectly.
“Three seconds to say I love you,
Three hours to explain it,
And a lifetime to prove it.

They are there for each other, they help pull each other up in rough times, they help lower each other down a notch when the other becomes out of control, it is a relationship built on trust that you can count on the other through thick and thin, it is a relationship that wants the best for each other, and support for each other to reach higher. It is two people there for each other to comfort and care for one another, when in pain or in sorrow, you have a shoulder to cry on. It is two people who will listen and offer there experience or insight when the other doesn't. It is two people that try there best to provide what the other needs emotionally.
