A female Canada age 30-35, *lenaL writes:

Is it possible to fall in love with a person you've never met? I've met this man online a year ago, we corresponded through email for 3 months, with 2 - 3 emails a day. Then we starting calling each other once a day or each other day and it always lasted at least 3 hrs whenever we chatted. But something came up and he no longer contacts me and I actually cry, I dream of being with him, I see his old text, read the emails and I cry wishing he would come back to me.... Is this normal? How can I let go? It's already been 4 months, but it still hurts...Why is that?

kayla20 agony auntdo you know the reason why he has stopped speaking to you?maybe he has a partner?its normal to have feelings towards someone you have never met but it isnt love yourve never met the guy if you did it might be different.you need to find something else to focus on whenever a guy you like leaves a woman or stops contacting a woman without an excuse it does hurt and take time to get over because in a way we think what reason could this possibly be for.you just need to move forward and concentrate on other things such as friends and work maybe even set your sights at someone else someone real that you know rather than a person behind an email probably pretending to be your perfect man but being the complete opposite in real life

Kenj agony auntIt is possible to have feelings for someone you have never met yes, but these will just be infactuation.

Only once that has wore off will you know if your in love with that person.

Yes your feelings are normal because you miss him chatting to you, just give it time you will move on from this and find someone who loves you and appreciates you.
