writes:Im sorry its long but please please read!After a year and a bit my exboyfriend has started getting alot closer to me, to the extent where he always wants to get my attention, talk to me, touch my hair, tickle me, be playful, cuddle me and expect to be cuddled back and earlier today he casually said he loved me.Trouble is, i'm not sure if i want to get close to him again, simply because he's my ex and if it didn't work last time it probably won't work this time.Another problem is, that i wont be seeing him everyday like i do now in 5 months time because he's leaving my work. However he lives about 15 mins away in a car so it's not too far i guess.Just recently i have got my tongue pierced, i am very worried about kissing him because he's very confident and will probably want to kiss with tongues straight away and i'm just a bit scared because he might not like it or it could get caught, and i don't know how to kiss with it so that could ruin things a bit (my fault for having it done in the first place)The FINAL concern is that his last relationship was about 2/3 months ago and he loved her very much but she hurt him and i could tell he was so upset but has been very happy lately, so i don't know if he's over her or he's stringing me along 'til they're back together or... Oh i just dunno. What i do know is that, ever since we broke up.. I've always felt it was a shame things worked out how they did and i've never stopped loving him despite all of his bad qualities, i guess you just can't choose who you feel you're meant to be with. I even ignore what all of my friends say because they think he's ugly or a total idiot but he's so kind and lovely to me so yeah :/ what should i do?

What he may be looking for is reassurance. Many people rebound aggressively after being hurt, they seek confidence through other people's attention. The best thing you can do for him is to be friendly but ask him to wait for you, just a few weeks. This will give him time to regain his SELF-confidence and will give you some time to test his committment to a renwing your relationship.
