We are quite sensible so we have agreed not to have full penatrative sex untill we are both out of school. He is 17. I went on the mini-pill about a year and a half ago and ever since my periods have fell into a rythm where i bleed every 1st of the month and every 20th of the month so i have two periods per month but they each only last a couple of days. On the 16th of December my boyfriend and i were being intimate and there was a bit of genital contact but as i say we did'nt have sex. Since then i have missed two periods, one on the 20th of December and the other on the 1st of january. I have felt quite bloated too for a few weeks and my breasts have enlarged slightly but i hav'nt been urinating more or felt sick or any other symptoms and i am still growing so i really don't know weather to be worrying or not. I have been taking the pill still and i'm worried that if i am pregnant that that may have negative effects on the baby. so i was wondering, is there a good chance or no chance in hell of me being pregnant and should i wait for a 3rd missed period to take a pregnancy test? thanks xx

Odds say are that you aren't.. but like a lot have already mentioned.. there still remains that chance that the odds are not correct. If there was genital contact... some sperm may have got into the canal to reach its goal of fertilizing your egg.. even if you are on the pill.. Nothing is 100% sure until it happens or is in the past. If you think you might be.. take a test. preferrably a couple to make sure.. and please let us know if you wish.

I suspect it's something else - have you been really stressed or ill? Have you lost weight? If your periods have been regular for 1.5 years up until now then I would get checked out by a doctor, because there might be something wrong that's not pregnancy.

So many teens having sex at such as young age with the fear of being pregnant. If this is the case, why do so?
There's this teen who took the shot and taking birth control pills thinking it'll prevent pregnancy unfortunately, it didn't. Now, she and the boyfriend are in for a rude awakening.
Just like honeypie mentioned, if sperm entered the vagina, it is a possibility.

If sperm entered your vagina you had sex. One way or another. If you have been taking your pills as prescribed I don't see how you could have gotten pregnant, unless you have been sick or skipped a pill or two. Then if that is the case and again, if sperm in one way or another entered your vagina you can be pregnant. It isn't clear cut.
Pregnancy tests today can tell VERY early on if a woman is pregnant or not, so I'd (to be on the safe side) buy a test now and see.
Use condoms too please, having a baby when you are 16 is not something you really want.
