Took a test, negative, could I still be pregnant if I haven't gotten my period?

A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I was on Birth Control for 2 years, went off of it, didnt get my period for 2 months. Then I had unprotected sex, missed my period (i figured it was probably going to be the same 2 month delay). Still havent gotten my period (3 weeks late). Had unprotected sex again, took a test 2 days after that, it was negative. Could I still be pregnant from the second incident?
