writes:Do guys send random text messages to get a females attention? Mine broke up with me, after cheating twice, with the same girl... it ended a week ago... I have not spoken to him and then this morning, he sends me a text that said "lets go to the honda store today".... I'm stewing over here cause I want to know why he sent that??? Could he have sent it to the wrong person??? Or could he be desperate and not know what else to say to see if I react?

If he wanted to see you he can call you on the phone and ask you to the store so definately don't reply to his texts, ever. Make him call you up if he wants to talk, of course he is hoping for a reaction from you do don't give him any attention.
I would say it is time to cut him out of your life. Why don't you either change your phone number or add a service to your phone plan where you can block certain numbers from being able to reach you.

 No one here will know why he sent it. It could be all of the above or a combination of any of the above. Really, it is not important.
What is important is not why he sent it, but how his sending it affects you. It has interrupted your healing process. It has added in more confusion.
The BEST response to this and/or any possible future messages is to ignore them; act as though they do not exist, and continue to heal and move forward.

lol, I used to do that when I was younger with my ex. I only did it to get him to think of me...he cheated and left me fo9r the same girl, so I made out like I've moved on by texting him messages meant for my imaginary bf. I was 17 at dat time and while it was childish it was also effective. So please dont spend any more of ur time wondering about why he sent that text, the reality is he cheated and you deserve better. If he's missing you then let him burn. Do not react to that text, delete it and get on wit things. You will meet someone who will rock your world. x x
