He comforts me when I'm sad and vice versa. We help each other with our homework. We are even working on a storybook together! We're THAT CLOSE :) He lives in Boston and I live in Malaysia. We are fine about the distance because we plan the time of our Skype calls and we email each other almost every minute. We seriuosly feel for each other. Problem is, my mum does not approve of an online relationship. OK, she has a point when she was nagging me about how much trouble I would be in if I got cheated by the dudes I meet online, but I really feel for my boyfriend!! But come to think of it, he never sent me more than one photo of himself even when I beg him to. How would I know he's not an internet predator? What should I do if he isn't? Should I tell my mum? She is not aware of my present status....

Best friends? No, he is a pen pal at most. You trust him with your secrets because there is no way he can spread them with those you know, not because he is special in any way.Close to him? No, physically he is on the other side of the world, and you said he is hot but he only showed you ONE PIC? Nowadays people can get hundreds of pictures of themselves on the computer, so he might not have any more pics only because he found that one on google.Supporting someone on the internet is easy, it's about saying what the other person wants to hear, that's all. No affection involved because you cannot love or like someone you have never met.I am sure he is an online predator and is taking advantage of the fact that you are 13/14/15. Look for guys where you live, not online. Stop talking to him. Forget about him.
