I'm not tough enough and don't chase them as much as I need to.I need some helpful advice. Are there any of you out there that have your own freelance writing business? If so, can you give me any tips on how to get it established etc.. or if you own your own company, please tell me your story. I would love to read about how you got off the ground.Thank you so much.Chelsea Reply to this Question Share |

As a journalist, you should know that you should be chasing everything - and that includes payments not just stories. If you're not tough enough to chase, as you say, then you won't succeed. You have to have the hunger and everything that goes with it.Journalism is a feisty business and if you don't want something enough, someone else will take it.
