writes: I've been going out with my boyfriend for 2 months and havent yet said 'I love you' to each other because we are both unwilling to say something like this until we mean it properly, as this is something that is used too much to mean nothing. However, I really do love him, and want to let him know, but dont want to scare him off or pressure him to say it back when he doesnt mean it. I want to be the first to admit it because he's a bit insecure in relationships and I want to reassure him rather than wait for him to say it first and copy him. What should I do??

reader, anonymous, writes (13 February 2011): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThanks for your advice - I was planning on putting it in his valentines card however i will be with him all day so he has to read it in front of me. However i may just write a random note and leave it on his pillow, that sounds like a good idea and one that i hadnt thought of, so again thank you :)
