A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I had been 'talking' to a guy for close to a month when i found out he was also talking to another one of my friends. She knew he was talking to someone else but I had no idea. I confronted him about it and he said that he really liked me and that he told her because they wernt really talking since she was talking to other people also but that he didn't want me to know because he had been planning for things to go somewhere with me. I told him he was full of it and I would rather have him as a friend but we kept talking like normal, come to find out he admited there was another other girl he said that he really cared about me and we connect on so many levels, seeing as I had been in this exact situation in the past except I was the one caught between two people. He says he doesnt want to be just friends but he doesn't want to hurt either one of us. I don't want to care but I still care sooooo much. What is wrong with me, what should I do?
