writes:i need your help... i got with this lad that i had liked for agers and i even split up with my partner at the time to be with him and then when i got with this lad he broke up with me for another girl. then about two months later he started to text me again asking to get back with me so i got back with him. i told him its his last chance but one day i looked at his texts and he was texting another girl saying that he liked her and wanted to be with her so i ended the relationship. then the other week i went to my friends birthday party and he was there as soon as i saw him my heart melted and he told me he still loved me.now hes started to text me again wanting to get back with me and said that he will change and do anything to make it work and that he loves me. i think hes telling the truth because when i look into his eyes i can see that he does care about me and that hes hurting. i want to get back with him and this will be his last chance. but i just dont want to be hurt again. all my friends are teeling me not to get back with him but i think i still love him i really dont know what to do please help?

 Let's see you got with him, and then not even 2 months later he's texting another girl who he wants to be with. Now, I suppose things didn't work out between them and he's trying to worm his way back into your life.
I bet he's really hurting and sad over all this. Ha! Let me tell you, that if he claims he's going to change and make this right. he won't. He may attempt to change, then he'll be back to the same old gig. It takes months on end, years for a guy to truly change.
You know in the back of your mind that your friends are right. He will hurt you again, I don't know that for certain. But judging from the first time around there's a BIG chance he will be going behind your back again. If you don't want to get hurt, then move on from him. In which you probably won't, so I would stress to him that this is his last shot, by no means make it easy. Also looks like you're going to have to be watching him like a hawk. I'm sure you will be monitoring his texts, because you don't trust this guy. Good luck with that.
