I feel like I'm acting like a silly teenager with this guy!

A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

There is a guy I know who I am really keen on. He knows this and has done for a while but at the time said he wasn't interested.

The problem I have is that I see him regularly so I can't avoid him or forget about him etc, and I know he's unattached so it doesn't really feel like it's totally impossible for us to give it a go.

I don't know what to do for the best, as I don't want the chance of having kids to pass me by, but at the same time whilever I see this man on a regular basis I can't help feeling the way I do.

He's always really friendly and pleasant when I see him, but I just get frustrated that it never becomes any more than that.

I'm usually so sensible but when it comes to this I feel like I'm acting like a silly teenager. I would really appreciate any advice.

tennisstar88 agony auntIf you don't want the chance of having kids to pass you by, then stop wasting time on a guy who's not interested. Which is more important to you? Achieving love, marriage, and a family? Or pining away for a man who has specified he's not interested?
