A female Australia age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I cheated on my boyfriend of 5 months, with his older brother's best friend who is 4 years older than me. I lost my virginity to this guy when I was drunk (and it was my first time drinking), but I really want to stay with my boyfriend. This is the worst mistake of my life! What do I do?

A female reader, Tarawr United States +, writes (11 October 2009):

Tarawr agony auntYou're way too young to be drinking and having sex.

Tell your boyfriend about it, and see how he reacts. How his reaction plays out should tell you what to do. I'm going to warn you: I'm positive that it won't turn out well.

Just keep in mind, we all must live with our mistakes.

A reader, anonymous, writes (11 October 2009):

First of all, stop drinking. That's only ever caused problems with realationships as far as I've noticed, especially at your age. I know you don't want a lecture about age, I understand that, but guys take advantage of younger girls, especially when they're drunk. If this guy had sex with you against your will then that's rape and you should press charges.

Secondly, I'm sorry this happened, I'm afraid you will regret losing your virginity in this way. I don't think you'll be able to keep your boyfriend once you tell him what you've done. He may forgive you, but no promises, having sex with a random guy is pretty high on the list of things that break realtionships.

Thirdly, although this should probably be first, please get yourself to a doctor and get checked out, if you had sex (and possibly unprotected) then you could have an STD, as well as you could possibly be pregnant. You should get checked out as soon as possible, and consider the morning after pill if you still have time.

This is a bad situation, I hope you've learned not to drink with guys who are willing to take advantage of you in this way. If you have any more questions feel free to message, I wish you the best.
