 It doesn't matter is he fancies you or not...why? He doesn't sound like he is ready for a relationship if the only way he can get your attention is to poke you or say things in front of his mates then he is lousy boyfriend material. You may find this funny at the moment (...because you fancy him) but other girls are going to react badly to being teased or poked. Perhaps you should have a word with him when he is alone and tell him to keep his hands and comments to himself. I had a few guys tease me in my teens and on reflection I knew they fancied me thinking about it years later. Glad I didn't waste my time or energy on them though - they were a waste of space really.

he mite no say he does in frount mates but mite say to you when alone yes i do or something like that
hun you will never no intill you ask because some guys wont they rather lassies make move to scared so posibally if you dont ask you will never no.
