writes: A friend's new partner is about 23 stone and binge drinks rather too regularly. They have very energetic and regular sex life, yet he has not achieved orgasm as yet (3 months). He told her that he had been badly hurt in relationships in the past.He seems to me to be someone who is quite controlled in his manner yet he is very loving and tender and a considerate lover.Do you think that his problem is just fear and that over time he just has to let go and trust his new partner ?

Being burned in a past relationship could leak over in to a new relationship, and trust could be another issue. The drinking definatly inhibits the sex life, most of the time rendering males unable to achieve orgasm. Either way, this friend should talk with her partner, and try and work together on the solution. Problems with sex can be solved by both partners working towards a solution.
