writes: I've kind of been seeing this boy(let's call him boy A) and people say he likes me alot. But I do not have feelings for him anymore. We use to be head over heals for eachother but I've meet this boy (boy B) and he told my bestfriend he was going to ask me out... I really would like to go out with and I want to tell boy A that I just want to be friends. How do I tell him I want to be friends but not because of another man... The right thing to do is telling A that you don't have feelings for him any more. Of course he will feel bad if he has feelings for you, but this is what life's about. He will feel worst after finding out you are seeing another guy after breaking up with him. And again it's part of everybody's life.
You can't save him from the pain. And don't even think of not telling him, or lying to him. Because that would lead to a lot of pain and make things harder.

There is no easy way to break up with someone, but there is the RIGHT WAY to do it. You must speak to Boy A and tell him that you don't want to go out with him anymore. It's as simple as that. He won't like it. He'll probably be sad, but you will have been honest with him, he will know exactly where he stands, and you won't have cheated on him with Boy B.
