writes:So today I was at a huge crazy party and I only knew 6 guys that were there and a bunch of girls who I only knew the name of (they didn't really know me). I'm 15 and there was a ton of grinding and such going on. One of the guys in my grade (sophomore) was making out with a girl he had just met at the party and she was a senior. During all this, all I was doing was standing around talking to my friends and walking around a little. One of the girls tried to introduce me to some other girls but I had no idea how to go to any girl and grind her and it was all very awkward... How do guys like the sophomore I saw get girls so easily and how could I do this? I'm looking for details and things to say and all that....I'm not really a pig, I just want to be able to do something at these parties.thanks Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (13 March 2011): Some guys are good looking and they're bad boys. That's usually all there is to it. Don't put too much weight on what girls tell you about attracting them. Look at their actions, it might tell you a totally different story about a girl.

But when they find a girl, she's usually a 'keeper'Here are a few tips:Catch a girl's eye, smile with your eyes directly at her eyes. Don't try smart alec 'pick up' lines - most guys are unable to do this well and look stupid.Do tell them your name, but when you first meet them reach out to shake their hand, hold their hand a moment, look into their eyes and announce yourself with, ''hi, i'm john, and you are .....?'' Smile directly at her eyes with good thoughts in your heart. You would be surprised how much your body language can give away.Always have your hair and body Smelling good. Always clean your teeth thoroughly.If i can come up with better than that i will do a follow up. Reaching out to shake their hand is important as it is gentlemanly and gives you an opportunity to touch their hand. If you truthfully think their hand feels beautifully soft then say so. Do listen to them very carefully and remember all they tell you.
