First..dont panic!
Second..Make an appointment at the doctors, i dont agreee with skipping school but until you know what this is i would advise you not going and getting your parents to pop in or ring up every morning just to explain you wont be in cos your getting it seen too etc.
It could be a mosquito bite, then again, it could be anything.
If it is itching..please please please dont scratch.
Try putting ice on it for the time being..it may reduce the swelling however it will be red for a little until the cold feeling goes.
At the doctors, they'll be able to diagnose it properly and get you on some anti-histemines or something (not sure how thats spelt) and these are to get rid of the itch while slowly helping the bite to heal.
But remember..please don't skip anymore than 3 days of school, and catch up!! I can see your age category is 18-21 so whatever education your in, you need to catch up.
So get yourself an appointment ASAP, when making the appointment, tell them its affecting your sight and your worried about missing too much school, that will help you get one pretty soon.
Thats all i can think of, hope this helps, please dont panic, nothing to be worried about as soon as the doctor has seen it, you'll be fine, so get that appointment and go!
:)
All the best.
