A female United Kingdom age 30-35, KarenY writes:

back in 2002, a lot of bad things happened to me....i was abused by a man who was 3 times my age! i was scared to leave the house after it had been realised to my parents and the police. i stayed in my room all day every day. i never did think i could get over it...and to be honest i still never have deep down.

I finally got the courage to go out of the four walls i kept staring at and went into town with my parents and some friends and thats when i saw him, Steven he stood tall and had a lovely look in his eye... i knew i had to be with him. so i found the courage and i went n spoke to him we talked for hours and i thought it was going well and yes i was it was going great. we have been together now for 7 years and have a son aged 4. he has helped me realise all my anger from whitin and taught me how to talk about my problems and to this day i still realise that no matter how difficult it is talking is the best thing to do.

this little story is to help those people who have something inside of thiem which they need help discussing that all it takse is one word the word Help. it is difficult to say at first all you hear is it going round i your head, but trust me once it's out things will begin to get better....and your life will start to turn round, just like mine did to this day im still weary about goin places but im getting there.

please feel free to talk to me about anything over the years i have learnder to become a good listener and i like to help others

The End x
