SirenaBlusera agony auntHi,

If you like this girl back, and you have family down in Panama, then could one of them interpret for you?

As to why she wrote a love letter... my guess is, she likes you.

I am confused, though: If she lives in Panama, and you're in USA... how exactly does she know you? And how can you be in love with someone if you don't know the person?

If you have strong feelings for her, don't let language stand in the way. Maybe this is the hopeless romantic in me but I think this could work. In order for it to work, though, one of you is eventually gonna have to learn the other's language.

Trust me, people LOVE it when you make an effort to speak their language. It's like you're opening up your heart to them. Why don't you learn a bit of Spanish? ¡Ay, mi amor! :-)
