Question - (4 November 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 4 November 2007)
A female South Africa age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend did something that hurt but I am not sure whether to speak to him about it. I had not seen him for two days and we were supposed to go to the movies last night. He had previously told me he would spend the day with his flatmate, his flatmates girlfriend and another girl. I felt quite hurt when he told me that but I really did not want to fight with him. Well, he never called me for the movies and only smsed me to tell me that he is tired and ok. I am so confused. Is that a normal male thing that he did and why could he not realise that his actions really hurt and made me feel unimportant in his life.

He says he loves me and I love him but I cannot understand sometimes that he can be so heartless and expect me to not be upset.

Thanks for your advice.

Dump him!! He's being a jerk and not treating you right. You deserve better :)

If that's not an option, then try talking to him about it. I know it's hard but I think that if you just tell him that it's bothering you then it would make the situation a whole lot better. Good Luck!
