If shes saying that she doesnt know why you hang out with her because of the way she looks, then shes buying their opinions, which is a shame. By all means help her to maximise her good points by having make up sessions and doing her hair for her but dont waste your time answering to the bullies taunts. Honestly, they really arent worth the energy. Just be a good friend to her and wait until shes older, who knows what she might turn into or make of her life. My sister knew the sweetest girl at school, who was bullied very badly by the other gilrs because they didnt think she was as pretty as they were. And she couldnt afford the latest designer clothes ect. They made her life miserable but my sister was her friend. They had an unexpected reunion a few years ago. My sister was in labour with her second child at our local hospital. When the midwife appeared to delivery the baby, it was my sisters old schoolfriend!! I often wonder how her school bullies react when they find her delivering their babies! We cant know how things will turn out in life, so its best to be good to those we meet along the way. Be a true friend to your pal and take no notice of the bullies x

We all see different things in people, for instance some guy that you think is totally hot, someome else might say he is ugly, beauty is in eye of the beholder. Don't stop being friends with this girl because of what other's think, i reckon they are being petty to be honest. Have you ever thought that they do see that she is pretty and that they feel jealous and somewhat threatened by her looks, which is why they are excluding her. Don't go along with what they think, and its not your job to convince them that she is beautiful, im sure they can well see that for themselves.
