writes:I'm a freshman this year, and am dating this really sweet senior guy I met about a week ago. He's our band's field commander. Well, he's extremely shy and doesn't really show his affection for me at all. It kind of has me wondering if he even cares about me. We went to the lake this past Friday and just to experiment I tried to play with his hands to see how he would react. Well. He didn't. He, in a way, ignored it. However he did hug me when I was close to him. What the heck is going on here? How do I get him to quit being so embarrassed? I love this guy already and don't want to lose him.

well, you say you met him a week ago! There is your problem, maybe you should have taken the time too get to know eachother better. well now its too late, and your already in a relationship with him.. i suppose the only advice i can give you now, is too carry on with what your doing, and the more you spend time with him, the closer you will become.
